The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international  Catholic organization dedicated to providing direct services to people  experiencing adversity as a result of poverty or suffering  This organization, founded by Frederic Ozanam, in Paris, in 1833 and named for "The Father of the Poor," St. Vincent de Paul, has over 700,000 members worldwide.  
We at St. John LaLande, St. Vincent de Paul reach out to neighbors in need by operating a food pantry and offering utility assistance. 

These services are dependent upon the generous donations of food and money provided by our parishioners.
