We encourage you to take time to enter into the celebration of Holy Week. All liturgies are gifts of grace. Please join us for these beautiful celebrations.
7:00 pm—The Sacred Paschal Triduum begins with the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper. From now until the Vigil on Saturday evening, the whole church is fasting, praying, and keeping watch. This night we celebrate the institution of the Eucharist and the remembrance of Israel’s Passover. We continue our prayer in the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. After the Blessed Sacrament has been reposed, you are invited to stay and pray or you may wish to return later. Adoration will continue until midnight.
3:00 pm– Solemn Stations of the Cross
7:00 pm– Liturgy of the Passion of the Lord
In the liturgy on Good Friday there is a great solemnity; a pondering of the “mystery of our faith”, the Passion, Death and Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. The celebration of the Lord’s Passion consists of three parts: Liturgy of the Word, Adoration of the Cross, and Distribution of Communion.
Easter Vigil in the Holy Night
